JESUS CHRIST CAR ES FOR CANCER
July 2026 General Assembly: We Are in This Together

A VITAL commitment of Jesus Christ Cares for Cancer Inc. (JCCFC) is a monthly financial assistance for its beneficiaries.
This may not always be enough to cover all their needs. JCCFC continues to find ways to fulfill this goal.
Still, we believe our mission goes beyond material assistance.
JCCFC is about journeying with cancer patients and their families, providing encouragement, compassion, and a community that reminds them that they are not alone in their journey.
We gather everyone — the patients and their families together with everyone involved in this mission — during a monthly General Assembly, precisely to make everyone know and feel we are all in this together.
We were together during the JCCFC July 2026 General Assembly, held at The Feast Ortigas, Robinsons Galleria, on July 15, 2026, with the theme Healing Our Mind, Body, and Spirit.
We understood what this really means through the sharing of our guest speaker, Sir Carl Fontanilla, managing director of Rock Energy International Corp.
With his stint in this company, Bro. Carl has more than enough management expertise to see through the technical operations of any organization.
He is with us because he is an elder of the Light of Jesus Family, one of the pillars that enables this faith community which yes, shines the Light of God, especially to those in their darkest world. LOJ does this through The Feast– a monthly faith gathering so-called because for one, it includes snacks– but most important, spiritual nourishment for everyone.
Bro. Carl is with us in JCCFC because he himself has battled cancer.
Understanding the Big C
In his speech, Bro. Carl shared his research about the disease. Moreover, he provided valuable insights on how individuals and families can better understand, support, and care for themselves and their loved ones who are facing the challenges of the Big C.
He inspired everyone with a powerful message of faith and hope: while cancer may be a big challenge, everyone can hold on to the truth that there is an even Bigger G — God — who remains present and faithful throughout the journey.
That was one big enough blessing of the General Assembly.
But God is not content with just one. He further blessed us with the presence of Bro. Hermie Morelos, head of all The Feast Mercy Ministries.
Bro. Hermie graciously made time to be with JCCFC’s beneficiaries and their families. His presence served as an affirmation of the importance of compassion, service, and community in bringing healing and encouragement to those facing difficult seasons.
And more.
Here, Bro. Hermie expresses JCCFC’s heartfelt gratitude to friends from The Feast PICC Lovelife Retreat-Yakap Batch, led by Sis. Rachel Santiago who came with gifts and yes, warm yakap, a healing embrace indeed.
Their kindness is a living reminder of the message shared by Bro. Carl — that God continuously sends people who will not only understand the struggles of others but will also walk with them through their hardships.
Yes, they give, along with the regular volunteer health care professionals, social workers, caregivers, the personnel– all for God’s glory.

But God, because He is God, is never out-given.
The General Assembly proved this as we recognized the dedication and commitment of the benefactors who continue to help improve JCCFC’s processes and systems for the benefit of its beneficiaries and their families.
Their tireless service and cooperation remain essential in strengthening the organization’s mission.
And special plus: honoring new volunteers who have chosen to become part of the JCCFC family, as well as the four newly appointed volunteer leads who accepted their new roles and responsibilities in serving the Community.
This is the General Assembly. This is the Jesus Christ Cares for Cancer Foundation: True healing for the whole person — healing of the mind through understanding and hope, the body through care and support, and the spirit through faith in God.
Our salutes, deepest gratitude to everyone. And we bow to Jesus who cares. We know He is fulfilling God’s Promise in Luke 6:38:
Give, and it will be given to you. A good measure, pressed down, shaken together, and running over, will be poured into your lap.
For with the measure you use, it will be measured back to you.
Because, as 2 Corinthians 9:7 puts it: God loves a cheerful giver.
