Embracing the Elderly:
Feast Timog Brings Love and Service to Anawim

ON January 17, 2026, The Feast Timog Family brought love, joy, and compassion to the elderly residents of Anawim Lay Missions Foundation, the Light of Jesus Family’s mercy ministry home for the poor and abandoned elderly.
Guided by the theme Embrace the Elderly, the visit was a beautiful expression of faith in action.
The Feast Timog Businessmen’s Circle Mission, together with the Young Adult Singles Life Missions team, organized the mercy event with the support of the entire Feast Timog community.
More than simply bringing donations, The Feast Timog team shared gifts just as precious—their time, presence, laughter, and loving embraces. They spent priceless moments with the Lolos and Lolas of Anawim, reminding them that they are seen, valued, remembered, and deeply loved.
Gift of Connection

As part of the Community’s generosity, Feast Timog donated ₱80,000 to support the mission and needs of Anawim. This gift expressed the Community’s desire to care not only through material support but also through personal connection and service.
In response, the Lolos and Lolas of Anawim also assured The Feast Timog community of their prayers and expressed their hope to welcome them back again soon.
The experience beautifully reflected the spirit of the Gospel: when we serve those who are most vulnerable, we encounter Christ Himself.
The visit also showed that service can take many forms—through generosity, companionship, a listening ear, a joyful conversation, or simply a warm embrace.
Embrace the Elderly meant that caring for our elderly is not merely an act of charity. It is an opportunity to honor their dignity, appreciate their stories, and recognize Christ in each person we encounter.
The visit of Feast Timog to Anawim was more than a one-day outreach.
It was a celebration of community, compassion, and the call to love through service. When business meets service, hearts are transformed. When we embrace the elderly, we embrace Christ.
