H.A.I.L. MARY
Hope for Indigents in Abra’s Mountainous Areas
H.A.I.L. MARY is acronym for Healthcare Assistance for Indigents and Lepers of Mary, with the Blessed Mother Mary as the patroness of its mission.
H.A.I.L. Mary of Abra is a Catholic-inspired medical and humanitarian outreach mission serving some of the most remote and underserved communities in the province of Abra, Philippines.
It was established to respond to the urgent healthcare needs of people who have little or no access to medical services—especially in mountainous and hard-to-reach areas where hospitals and clinics are far away or too costly for families to access. The mission brings together volunteer doctors, nurses, and lay workers who provide consultations, medicines, and continued care for patients with chronic and serious conditions.
A major focus of H.A.I.L. Mary of Abra is serving vulnerable groups such as indigenous Tingguian communities, persons affected by leprosy, cancer patients, and those suffering from long-term illnesses without financial means for treatment.
Beyond medical aid, the Ministry also emphasizes compassion, dignity, and companionship—ensuring that patients are not only treated but also supported emotionally and spiritually.
It’s About Presence
Over the years, H.A.I.L. Mary Abra has also worked in partnership with donor groups and ministries like The Feast Mercy Ministries, helping extend relief goods, medicines, and other forms of assistance from urban centers like Manila to rural communities in Abra.
At its core, H.A.I.L. Mary of Abra is not just about healthcare delivery— it is about presence: showing up in places that are often forgotten, and making sure people know they are seen, valued, and cared for.
Through your generosity, in-kind donations from Feast Mercy Ministries here in Manila have reached them, bringing much-needed support and hope.
When you give to The Feast Mercy Ministries, your love goes beyond cities… It reaches places like Abra, where it is needed most.
