ANAWIM Year 30 PART 3

Inspiration

It’s our great joy to welcome a special guest — a talented artist, singer, and a friend of Anawim, Bro. Adrian Panganiban, blessing us with happy, inspiring songs, loving our lolas.

What a wonderful performance! Thank you, Bro. Adrian, for sharing your gift with us today.

By popular demand by the audience, Bro. Obet Cabrillas obliged with a vintage, crowd favorite of his action song, Granada! a bombshell so inspiringly explosive!

We just watched, listened, applauded– mesmerized!

Thank You, God, for Bro. Adrian and Bro. Obet, truly Your gifted artists.

And love from our founder, Bro. Bo Sanchez, through lovely and loving Sis. Marowe:

He was to be our main speaker, but before leaving for Anawim, at the last minute, Bro. Bo suffered stomach pain.

So, with his blessing, by God’s Grace, his wife, Sis. Marowe Sanchez, here speaks for him. With mixed tears and joy, Sis. Marowe recalls the beginnings– some difficulties, many blessings– of building Anawim, and expressing unconditional love for our Lolos and Lolas, and grand gratitude for supporters, donors, servants of Anawim

Now, We Begin ANAWIM YEAR 31…

Happy 30th Anniversary!

I have the privilege to officially close our Anawim Year 30 program.

Not really to close the program, but actually to begin Anawim Year 31!

We start with what we need: of course, funds we will use for the many mercy projects we have in mind for our Lolos and Lolas.

So, we launch the Anawim 30th Anniversary Fundraiser.

Lolos, Lolas, you are the heart and soul of Anawim. Thank you very much.

You know, the number 30 has a Biblical significance. King David became king at age 30. Joseph the Dreamer became an officer at age 30.

And, of course, our Lord Jesus, He started His public ministry at age 30. How is this related to our celebration? Our theme is We’ve only just begun.

We’re just beginning. After 30 years, there’s more compassion, there’s more love, there’s more service.

I love the homily of Fr. Ivan. He applauded “Selfless service from the heart.” Aptly, that’s my wife Reng and I have for our Anawim elderly…

I am studying in the School of Technology — I have an oral comprehensive exam on June 11. In the School of Theology, my subject now is Service.

I’ve learned the Greek word for service is diakoneoto be a servant.

You know, here in Anawim, everyone is serving from the heart, not just from the mouth. There is love.

Even the Lolas serve by praying for us– all the intercessory requests from the different Feasts all over the world, we send to Anawim and the elderly pray for each petition.

Love from the heart. And that’s what will prevail in the next 30 years. Our God the Holy Spirit will give the love from the heart. Pure. That’s all we will give.

It is said God is Love.. If God is with you, you already have everything– complete.

God’s Presence is enough for all of us. And that’s what our Lolos and Lolas as well as our donors, benefactors, supporters are giving to us.

The Future of our Lolos and Lolas

I see here Jan-B Banson, the president of Monarch Equipment Corp. We are discussing how to help Anawim and the rest of our Feast Mercy Ministries — not only through prayers. We must have strategy. We’ve got to convert our prayers into action. We need to pray as well as to act to fill the needs of our Anawim elderly.

Bro. Arun Gogna is here. We’re talking about putting up a Dialysis Center and all it is going to earn we will give to Anawim and our other Mercy Ministries.

Again, prayer and action. We can’t just depend on our donors. We are grateful for your support in the last 30 years. Your donations have kept our elderly alive.

Yet, we need other sources of income to be able to sustain our service for our Lolos and Lolas and other Mercy ministries beneficiaries.

Here, at the upper section of this property, we have our Jeremiah 33 Foundation shelter for abused minor girls. We serve more beneficiaries. And we hope through our united efforts, they will feel secure, they will be strong, and receive the love they so need.

Again, we thank our donors, our personnel, volunteer servants. God knows who you are and He will continue to bless you more and more.

Lolos and Lolas, we love you. God bless you.

Party Time!

And now we party!

Let’s welcome DJ David Morelos and DI Debbie Mendoza. We especially invited them because our Lolos and Lolas really love to dance. And we dance, from right:

That’s me with our team;

Bro. Gil Ramiscal, guided by dance expert; and graceful

Sis. Lita Ramiscal and Bro. Adrian really have fun!

And Thank You, Lord, for Spark Events for this overflowing, yummy, buffet!

Bountiful More Years, Anawim!
