The FEAST LITTLE ACTS of LOVE
Welcome to Our Table!

MISSION ACCOMPLISHED!

Street dwellers received food packs on April 28, 2024, big thanks to

The FEAST Little Acts of Love of the Light of Jesus Disaster Recovery Ministry.

The Ministry holds the Street Feeding Program monthly, dubbed

Isama Natin Sila sa Mesa– yes, in English, Let’s Include Them at the Table.

The project is a partnership between the LOJFDRM’s Feast Little Acts of Love Foundation and The Feast Meycauayan.

Volunteer members prepared 200 food packs and helped distribute them to street dwellers in Caloocan, Manila, and Quezon City.

The Mission Continues

The Ministry deeply thanked the volunteers. It posted on its Facebook page: “With our partnership, we can now surely continue this monthly Street Feeding Program.”

The program also assures the continuation of the Ministry which was established at the onslaught of Typhoon Ondoy on September 26, 2009.

We remember Typhoon Ondoy very well as it was during the calamity that our Light of Jesus Family established the Light of Jesus Family Disaster Recovery Ministry.

Our founder, Bro. Bo Sanchez, encouraged our Community leaders to form the group to help members in times of calamities.

At left, Bro. Bo with Bro. Marvin Tan, Ministry executive director, with supportive wife Sis. Liza Tan.

Early on, Bro. Bo assigned Bro. Roy Pasimio (below, extreme left) as the first head of the Ministry.

Bro. Roy formed its organization, objectives, and policies.

In time, Bro. Roy handled the LOJ International branches of The Feast, our faith gathering.

So, Bro. Jorge Diomampo next handled the Ministry.

Soon, Bro. Jorge retired, and so, Bro. Marvin took over what is now called The Feast Little Acts of Love.

The Light of Jesus Feast is a loving community where all members can feel safe, experience support, love, and care especially in times of crises and calamities.

With an unending cycle of generosity– giving, sharing, saving lives—we have called our Ministry The Feast Little Acts of Love, aptly as part of the Light of Jesus Mercy Ministries led by Bro. Hermie Morelos, above, with Bro. Marvin.

Reaching Out to More in Need

Yes, with little acts of love, the Ministry has promptly provided relief for villagers affected by calamities– typhoons, volcanic eruptions, earthquakes, fires, armed conflicts. From the time of Bro. Roy and Bro. Jorge, and up to the present time, the Ministry has given millions of financial assistance and relief goods to countless members of our Light of Jesus Family, The Feasts, and even non-Feasters affected by the calamities.

Anyone, individual or group organizations are welcome to support Isama Natin Sila sa Mesa by giving whatever amount you can share for the next month’s mission.
