Healing Hands, Compassionate Hearts

“You are braver than you believe, stronger than you seem, smarter than you think, and twice as beautiful as you’d ever imagine. Don’t let cancer cause you to sell yourself short or forget your worth.”
This inspiring reminder rang true during the General Assembly of Jesus Christ Cares for Cancer (JCCFC), one of the Mercy Ministries of our Light of Jesus Family sustained through the support of participants of The Feast, our faith gathering.
Held at The Feast Ortigas Center on July 16, 2025, the event was a day of joy, encouragement, and healing for the beneficiaries and their families courageously facing the challenges of cancer.
The Assembly was not just a gathering– but a celebration of resilience, faith, and community.
The highlight of the day was a special wellness treat by HaGod Alternative Medicine and Learning Center.
Relief and Comfort
Led by Ms. Omil Lameda of HaGod Alternative Medicine and Learning Center, seven professional massage therapists provided free massage to the beneficiaries. This thoughtful gesture was a source of much-needed relief and comfort, both physically and emotionally.
HaGod Alternative Medicine and Learning Center is no stranger to the Ministry of the Light of Jesus Family and The Feast. They have been a consistent partner in several of JCCFC’s outreach initiatives.
Last year, they conducted a reflexology demonstration for relaxation and pain management—practical tools that offer comfort in the midst of illness.
No One Is Alone
Here, the blessed beneficiaries with the JCCFC General Assembly servants’ team.
Events like this would not be possible without the dedication of JCCFC’s tireless board members and coordinators.
Their efforts, often unseen, are vital to the Ministry’s mission, and thus deeply appreciated. They work behind the scenes to assure each beneficiary with a life of dignity, hope for healing, and above all, unconditional love just like the love of Jesus who, yes, truly cares for His People.

To cap off this happy day, Professor Marsha Nicolas, breast cancer survivor, treated beneficiaries to a savory meal to celebrate her birthday.
JCCFC continues to stand by its commitment to care for the indigent cancer patients and their families.
